TOEFL iBT® Test - Learning Materials
TOEFL® (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an English-language test made by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Most colleges, universities and agencies worldwide, accept TOEFL scores as entry requirement for non-native speakers of English. The test measures your command level of the English language by assessing your combined skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) in carrying out academic tasks. TOEFL iBT® Test is administered online through the accredited testing centers.
The best way to prepare for the TOEFL® test is to have a full knowledge of what the test is all about. It means knowing the question structure, how to approach it, the scoring criteria and some tips on building your English language skills. Aside from that, it is also good to look at some sample responses and how ETS scored them. There are quite a number of good TOEFL learning materials, but before exploring these different resources, it is best to start with those provided by ETS: 1) Take the TOEFL iBT® Test tour to have an overview of the test. 2) The TOEFLtv Channel Videos at youtube.com provides relevant information about the TOEFL test - structure, approach, scoring criteria, skill-building tips and more.
